Author of North.
Marcello has no training in theatre, acting, writing or directing. He has worked in call centres, bars, construction sites and kiosks. Despite this he makes a good living as a voice over artist and actor. His voice has been heard in feature films, TV shows, cartoons and commercials all over the world.
Marcello is now working on two full length plays and is currently writing and producing a six part, half-hour comedy series for radio called Theatre Royale. It’s actually very funny and he hopes the BBC will buy it.
Marcello wrote, and acted in, 'North' for the 2009 Sydney Short + Sweet Festival, winning Best Comedy Script. A pleasing result for his theatrical writing debut.
